Love Grows Here

Our Missions

Cuddle Makers make small quilts, lap robes, and bears.  We donate all of them to hospitals, nursing homes, and victim advocacy centers.

On Sunday, May 5, 2019 Rev. Dr. Don Messer appealed to us on behalf of 250 orphans in Africa, who are afflicted with AIDS. He celebrated with us the 35 kids we supported last year. That's $7,000.00 from Northglenn UMC.  WE REACHED OUR GOAL OF $8,000+.  What a ministry we have!  I would not only like to challenge us to support those kids again, but to increase the number to 40.  Forty children able to receive support from us, as they live each day with AIDS.

Food Drive Collections

Northglenn United Methodist Church partners with Good Shepherd Presbyterian Food Bank and Growing Home of Denver Metro to provide non-perishable food, toiletries, and other essential items to families in need.  We hold multiple drives throughout the year to provide these much needed items to these organizations, as well as other local food banks.

Northglenn United Methodist Church collects and distributes pounds and pounds of peanut butter to AfterHours Denver, a ministry that makes peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and distributes them to the homeless every week at Civic Center Park in Denver.

NUMC volunteers visit Sager Brown for UMCOR in Louisiana every year.
